My name is Cassy Krause and I am very pleased to be your child’s teacher this year.  To let you know a little bit about myself, I grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and moved to Charleston one year ago. I am very excited to call Charleston my home! In 2006, I graduated from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma with degrees in Elementary Education (1st- 8th grade) and Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL). Once I graduated, I moved back to Wisconsin and spent nine years in both the New Berlin School District and Whitnall School District as a teaching assistant, long-term substitute, and ultimately, a classroom teacher. Throughout this time, I have taught grades 1-3, enjoyed amazing teaching experiences, and have had a diversified start to my career. This is my 8th year as a classroom teacher. These wonderful experiences led me, here, to North Charleston Creative Arts, and I am thrilled to be your child’s teacher this year!

Teaching is my greatest passion! I love the excitement and enthusiasm 2nd graders bring to learning, and I can hardly wait to match it! If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, please know that I value open communication, and the best way to contact me is by e-mail. I love teaching second grade and am looking forward to another great year!
